YFE Enters Poland with Two Kids’ Channels on Orange

0

Your Family Entertainment (YFE) has expanded into Poland with the launch of its children’s channels Fix&Foxi Channel and RiC.today, adding another European market to its international distribution footprint. The company’s family-focused channels are now available across more than 70 countries worldwide.

Orange Polska is the first operator in Poland to distribute the two channels, with the agreement facilitated by MediaSpurs, YFE’s local representative. Both services are already available to Orange Polska TV customers.

The Polish launch takes two different approaches to localisation. Fix&Foxi Channel has been fully adapted into Polish, while RiC.today remains an English-language educational service. Fix&Foxi targets children aged 4–12 and combines entertainment with positive values, creativity and programming designed for family co-viewing.

Its programming includes established titles such as Little Bear, Marvin, the Tap-Dancing Horse, Timothy Goes to School and Oscar the Balloonist, alongside new and exclusive content. The channel is built around the Fix & Foxi comic characters created by German illustrator Rolf Kauka.

RiC.today, meanwhile, focuses on learning through English-language programming covering areas such as language, science, art and nature. YFE says the service was developed with input from educators and psychologists, combining entertainment with educational content for younger audiences.

The two channels are immediately available through Orange Polska on EPG positions 563 for Fix&Foxi Channel and 577 for RiC.today. YFE also says additional Polish carriage agreements are currently being prepared, suggesting Orange is the first step in a broader expansion strategy for the market.
