SkyShowtime has teamed up with Hungarian telecom operator One Hungary to make its streaming service available through selected broadband and TV packages, strengthening the platform’s distribution across Central and Eastern Europe.
Under the agreement, eligible One Hungary customers can access SkyShowtime through standalone add-ons as well as a dedicated fixed broadband bundle. The partnership is effective immediately and integrates premium streaming more closely with One Hungary’s connectivity offering.
To support the launch, selected broadband customers can receive 50% off for six months, subject to a minimum contract commitment. The offer is designed to encourage customers to combine their home internet and entertainment subscriptions within a single package.
SkyShowtime brings together programming from brands including Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios and Peacock, alongside its own original productions. Its catalogue includes series such as Yellowstone, Tulsa King and Landman, as well as family programming including Paw Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants.
For SkyShowtime, the agreement provides another route to consumers through an established telecom operator as the streaming service continues expanding its distribution across the CEE region. One Hungary, meanwhile, is using premium streaming content to strengthen the value of its broadband proposition.
The partnership is another example of the growing importance of telco-streaming aggregation, with operators increasingly combining connectivity and entertainment while streaming platforms use telecom partnerships to broaden their reach.
