German video podcast channel Talk? Now! is extending its distribution through a new carriage agreement with Vodafone Deutschland. From September 3, the 24-hour service will become available on GigaTV, significantly increasing its potential reach across the German television market.
The channel will become part of Vodafone’s growing FAST portfolio, giving Talk? Now! another route beyond its existing digital distribution. The agreement represents an important step in the young channel’s ambition to move from an online-first proposition towards a broader presence on mainstream television platforms.
Talk? Now! combines linear broadcasting with on-demand content, with programming spanning pop culture, social topics, mental health and true crime. Its catalogue is built with contributions from more than 60 independent producers, giving the channel a community-driven approach to programming.
Live content and viewer participation are also central to its proposition. The Sunday programme Total Reality Live, for example, brings audiences and guests together around developments in reality television, while the channel has also expanded into live-event coverage.
Its event programming has already included coverage of Cologne’s CSD, while the Berlin Titscher Masters 2026 is scheduled for September 13. This mixture of podcasts, interactive shows and live events gives Talk? Now! a programming model that sits somewhere between traditional television and digital creator-led media.
The GigaTV agreement adds to a distribution network that already includes Joyn, Zattoo, Twitch, Deutsche Bahn’s video service and Talk? Now!’s own website, where the channel can be accessed free of charge. Founders Maurice Gajda and Britta Schewe described the Vodafone launch as another milestone following the channel’s first year on air.
Behind the channel is a broader ambition to create a new model for independent media production. Talk? Now! is the first project from an initiative bringing independent producers together, with the longer-term objective of establishing a producer-owned streaming cooperative.
