Sky’s streaming platform NOW has launched two new Sky Sports membership options, giving UK sports fans greater flexibility to choose the content they want to watch without subscribing to the entire sports portfolio.
The new Multi-Sport Membership, priced from £19.99 per month, provides access to a broad range of live sporting events, including every Formula 1 race weekend, major golf tournaments, international men’s and women’s cricket, tennis, darts, rugby and NFL coverage.
Football enthusiasts can opt for the dedicated Football Membership, starting at £23.99 per month. The package offers access to more than 1,500 live matches during the season, covering competitions such as the Premier League, Women’s Super League (WSL), English Football League (EFL) and Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).
For viewers seeking comprehensive coverage, NOW will continue offering its All Sky Sports Membership, priced from £27.99 per month, which includes the complete Sky Sports portfolio.
Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, explained that the new memberships are designed to simplify the streaming experience by allowing customers to pay for the sports they follow most closely. The move reflects growing demand for more personalised and flexible sports subscriptions.
Both the Football and Multi-Sport memberships are available directly through NOW, as well as via Apple and Amazon. Customers accessing NOW through EE will continue receiving the full Sky Sports offering through the All Sky Sports package.
Industry analyst Paolo Pescatore of PP Foresight welcomed the introduction of more targeted subscriptions, noting that sports audiences increasingly face fragmented content offerings across multiple streaming services. He suggested that more affordable, legitimate access could help attract new subscribers, improve retention and reduce the appeal of illegal streaming.
