Zattoo and Teleboy Renew Swiss Streaming and Advertising Partnership

0

Zattoo and Teleboy have extended their long-standing partnership in Switzerland, renewing agreements covering both TV streaming technology and digital advertising. The two companies have been working together since 2019.

Under the renewed agreement, Zattoo will continue providing the technology infrastructure powering Teleboy’s TV streaming service. The partnership also covers the monetisation of Teleboy’s advertising inventory in the Swiss market.

A key element of the collaboration is Digital Ad Substitution (DAS). The technology allows individual commercials within traditional linear TV ad breaks to be replaced by digital advertisements, enabling more precise audience targeting and frequency management without disrupting the linear viewing experience.

Teleboy CEO Victor Masopust said the renewed agreement provides continuity for the company’s advertising proposition and greater planning certainty as it develops its digital television business. Zattoo’s acting CEO Tina Rodriguez highlighted the opportunity to combine premium TV reach with digital advertising capabilities.

The renewed partnership illustrates the continued convergence of linear television, CTV and addressable advertising, as streaming providers look to combine traditional TV reach with increasingly sophisticated digital monetisation tools.
