German production company Spiegel TV is expanding the distribution of its FAST channels, which are now available through eleven streaming partners. The addition of MagentaTV and Zattoo has further increased the reach of the company’s free ad-supported channels.
Spiegel TV’s FAST offering is already distributed on several major platforms, including Prime Video, Joyn, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, LG Channels, Rakuten TV, Xiaomi TV and Whale TV, as well as Titan OS on Philips devices. The channels complement the company’s existing digital presence, including its popular YouTube channel.
The flagship Spiegel TV channel broadcasts a 24-hour lineup of documentaries, reports and factual programming, along with news segments produced by the editorial team of the German magazine Der Spiegel. A second channel, Spiegel TV action+crime, focuses on police work and investigations, featuring programmes about organised crime, interrogations and emergency services such as paramedics and fire brigades.
