Samsung Teams with Activision for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4

Samsung Electronics has signed an exclusive partnership with Activision for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, becoming the game’s official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi-Fi speaker partner. The collaboration will showcase the title across Samsung’s premium display, audio and connected gaming ecosystem.

A central part of the partnership is the integration of HDR10+ GAMING into Modern Warfare 4. The technology is designed to improve colour accuracy and contrast while preserving the visual experience intended by the game’s developers.

Modern Warfare 4 will also officially support a 32:9 super-ultrawide aspect ratio, giving owners of Samsung Odyssey G9 monitors a significantly wider field of view during gameplay.

The collaboration extends directly to Samsung’s connected-TV ecosystem. On August 21, Samsung Gaming Hub users will be able to watch the Call of Duty: NEXT event live from their TVs. Samsung will also distribute selected Beta Early Access codes through its Promotion app, providing access from August 21–25 ahead of the wider Open Beta.

Samsung will further showcase Modern Warfare 4 at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, where visitors will be able to play the title on Odyssey gaming monitors ahead of its official October 23 release. Selected visitors will also receive Vault Edition Battle.net game codes.

The partnership illustrates Samsung’s push to make gaming a larger part of its connected-TV proposition. By combining Gaming Hub, premium displays, cloud gaming services and major gaming franchises, Samsung is increasingly positioning the TV as a broader interactive entertainment and gaming platform, rather than simply a screen for video content.
