The International Fencing Federation has extended its long-standing agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery, securing continued coverage of major international fencing events across 75 markets in Europe and Asia.

Under the renewed deal, WBD will broadcast key competitions including the FIE World Championships and European Championships, alongside highlights from the épée, foil and sabre Grand Prix circuits. Coverage will be available via Eurosport across Europe and Asia, TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland, and through streaming on HBO Max in Europe.

Beyond live broadcasts, the partnership also includes expanded editorial and digital content, with WBD set to produce additional highlights, features and social media assets aimed at increasing the sport’s visibility and attracting new audiences. Both parties will also collaborate on content initiatives tied to the Olympic cycle, including the Road to LA28.

The agreement builds on strong audience engagement during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where fencing ranked among the most-watched disciplines in several key European markets, including France, Italy and Hungary. The renewed partnership is intended to capitalise on this momentum and further grow the sport’s international reach beyond the Olympic stage.
