Deutsche Glasfaser has extended its agreement with streaming provider waipu.tv for a further five years, reinforcing its strategy to position IP-based television at the core of its service offering.
The renewed deal builds on a partnership with waipu.tv operator Exaring that has been in place since 2022, with the TV platform fully integrated into Deutsche Glasfaser’s fibre broadband packages.
The operator said the move underlines its commitment to delivering a modern, IP-driven TV experience alongside its high-speed network infrastructure. Exaring added that the long-term extension highlights the growing viability of partnerships between broadband providers and streaming TV platforms.
Customers will continue to have access to waipu.tv packages such as Comfort and Perfect Plus, which offer a range of HD channels, recording features and on-demand content as part of bundled broadband and TV services.
