Total Kombat, the striking-focused combat sports promotion co-founded by British UFC fighter Michael “Venom” Page, is making its comeback on ITVX on February 28 with its third event.
The return forms part of a new agreement with ITV, which will see four live events streamed on ITVX, alongside highlights shown on ITV4. The promotion first aired on ITVX and ITV4 in September 2025, where it attracted strong viewer engagement and favourable reactions from both fans and commentators.
Total Kombat 3 is expected to deliver high-intensity action, featuring a line-up that includes Dee Begley of SBG Dublin, Ben Fillingham — a training partner of UFC fighters Lone’er Kavanagh and Nathaniel Wood — and Commonwealth Games silver medallist Cameron Booth.
Clips from the previous event became a major online success, generating tens of millions of social media views and drawing what organisers describe as the largest television audience of 2025 for a UK martial arts promotion.
The promotion distinguishes itself through its striking-only format, designed by Page, which eliminates wrestling and ground fighting. The rules aim to showcase elite kickboxers and high-level karate and taekwondo athletes in a style that emphasises dynamic stand-up action.
Total Kombat CEO Lee Matthews said the reception to the ITVX debut exceeded expectations, adding that tickets for the upcoming event sold out weeks in advance. Page described the platform as one he once envisioned early in his career — a national stage dedicated to striking talent — and promised an even bigger spectacle for the February event.
Richard Botchway, Commissioning Editor at ITV, confirmed the broadcaster’s commitment to continuing the partnership and bringing underground combat sports to free-to-air audiences across the UK.
