Telefónica O2 Germany has broadened its entertainment services by incorporating Disney+ into its streaming portfolio. Starting December 16, 2025, O2 customers will be able to add Disney+ to their existing mobile or TV subscriptions, with the convenience of unified billing and management under their O2 account.
This latest addition places Disney+ alongside O2’s existing streaming partners such as Netflix, WOW, and Crunchyroll, further enriching the company’s digital entertainment ecosystem.
To mark the launch, O2 is introducing a special offer for new Priority customers. Beginning December 20, eligible users can subscribe to Disney+ Standard with ads at a promotional rate of €3.49 per month for the first six months. After the promotional period, the regular monthly subscription price will apply.
“Adding Disney+ brings a leading global content provider into the O2 world,” said Markus von Böhlen, Director of Devices, Trading & Digital Life at O2 Telefónica. “A significant portion of our customers already enjoy Disney+ content, so offering it directly through O2 is a natural evolution. Our goal is to grow our entertainment portfolio and provide customers with more choices and flexibility.”
Fabian Burger, Director of Platform Distribution GSA at The Walt Disney Company, emphasized the partnership’s role in expanding accessibility:“This collaboration with O2 simplifies access to our beloved stories and characters, allowing millions more to enjoy Disney’s vast catalogue of hit movies and award-winning series.”
Depending on the subscription level, users can enjoy streaming in Full HD or 4K UHD with HDR, share access across 2 to 4 devices, and create multiple profiles. Most tiers also support offline downloads for on-the-go viewing.
