LG Electronics has enhanced its free, ad-supported audio platform LG Radio+ through a new partnership with Stingray Music, bringing a richer and more localized listening experience to smart TV users worldwide.
The upgraded LG Radio+ is now available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 6.0 or later across the UK, the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and South Korea. The update introduces more than 200 curated music channels and thousands of songs, spanning a wide range of genres and moods. Viewers can access the service directly via the LG Content Store, as well as through the Apps and Music Portal sections of webOS.
Designed with a refreshed, intuitive interface, the new LG Radio+ makes it easier for listeners to browse music, podcasts, and live radio. The collaboration with Stingray Music, a global leader in curated audio entertainment, ensures a seamless and high-quality experience tailored to regional preferences.
Both companies describe the collaboration as a step forward in making free, high-quality music more accessible to audiences around the world.
“LG’s Radio+ is setting a new standard for engaging audio experiences, and we’re thrilled to expand our collaboration as their music partner,” said Jim Riley, President of Stingray Music USA. “Music is the universal language that connects people everywhere, and LG Radio+ will strengthen that bond for LG users around the world.”
Echoing this sentiment, Chris Jo, Head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation:
“We’re dedicated to continuously enhancing the LG Radio+ experience,” Jo said. “Our partnership with Stingray brings LG Smart TV owners an incredible variety of free music and podcasts, empowering them to enjoy what they love anytime.”
