BBC Studios has expanded its local streaming platform BBC NL+ in the Netherlands with the introduction of three fully Dutch-subtitled FAST channels: EastEnders, BBC Lifestyle, and BBC Earth.
Starting today, Dutch audiences can enjoy an even wider selection of British drama, factual, and entertainment programming. BBC NL+, which comes as part of both KPN TV+ and NLZIET subscriptions, now offers continuous, ad-supported streams of some of the BBC’s most popular series.
The new EastEnders FAST channel provides a 24-hour feed of episodes from the long-running London soap opera, bringing iconic Albert Square drama to local fans. BBC Lifestyle features a rotating mix of popular entertainment and lifestyle shows such as Antiques Roadshow, Amazing Hotels, Bargain Hunt, and George Clarke’s Old House New Home.
Meanwhile, BBC Earth FAST immerses viewers in world-class natural-history storytelling, offering landmark documentaries including Africa, Dynasties, and 24/7 Wild. Each channel is subtitled in Dutch, ensuring full accessibility for local audiences.
BBC NL+ already delivers a broad catalogue of British drama, documentaries, nature programming, comedies, soaps, and lifestyle content. The launch of these three FAST channels enhances its position as the go-to destination for British content in the Netherlands, giving viewers easier access to the BBC’s most recognisable brands through a free, always-on streaming experience.
