Manhattan TV unveils Aero 4K device enabling Freely access on all televisions

UK-based manufacturer Manhattan TV has launched the Aero 4K TV Streamer, a compact device designed to deliver the Freely streaming platform to any television using Wi-Fi. The new box offers a straightforward way for households to watch live and on-demand programmes without relying on a satellite dish or traditional TV aerial.

The Aero enables users to access Freely—the free broadband-delivered platform created by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5—on any compatible television. Through the streamer, viewers can watch over 60 live channels and browse more than 75,000 hours of catch-up content from services such as BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and My5.

Running on TiVo OS, the Aero integrates Freely with a wide range of global streaming apps, including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube and additional services. The device also includes TiVo+, which offers access to 400+ free streaming channels and a catalogue of free movies and series.

Manhattan TV highlights the Aero as a convenient upgrade option for older or secondary TVs, especially in rooms with strong Wi-Fi but no aerial connection. The streamer supports 4K resolution, offers voice search via TiVo Voice and provides a unified search across both live and on-demand content.

Alex Arbab-Zadeh, COO of Manhattan TV, commented:“Freely is a fantastic new platform that brings British television to viewers over broadband with no subscription fees. But many TVs don’t have it built in. Aero solves that—just connect to Wi-Fi to enjoy live TV, catch-up and streaming apps. It’s a simple, affordable way to modernise any television.”

Jonathan Thompson, CEO of Everyone TV, added: “We’re delighted to expand the Freely ecosystem with Manhattan’s Aero 4K TV streamer, launching in February. Our research shows strong interest from viewers who are eager to access Freely but haven’t been able to until now. With Aero, even more people can enjoy a full Freely experience over Wi-Fi, combining all their favourite live and on-demand TV in one place.”
